Palla participates in “Cityscape Osaka–Osaka in Images and Osaka Liberating Images”
Following the “artist pick up” series, Palla, an Excellence Award winner 2006 (29th competition) and Osaka-based artist, exhibits his new work (which differs from his work exhibited in “artist pick up”) in “Cityscape Osaka–Osaka in Images and Osaka Liberating Images,” an exhibition project of Osaka-Art-Kaleidoscope 2007. Osaka-Art-Kaleidoscope, which is sponsored by Osaka Contemporary Art Center, was inaugurated in 2003 to form a new image of Osaka, giving the city greater worldwide appeal through art. This fourth exhibition is planned and produced by Fram Kitagawa, and its theme is “I want to see Greater Osaka.” As nineteen artists/units, who have been selected in a public contest, exhibit their works of contemporary art at thirteen places regarded as symbols of the “City of Osaka” (mostly modern buildings) from March 1st through 21st, 2007, people can enjoy visiting cultural and historical spots in the city, walking around the “City of Osaka” with the help of a map.
Palla exhibits a large work “found#5,” his latest version of “found,” which won an Excellence Award 2006. The work includes a video and cloth paper prints.
