Palla receives award at 11th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art

Palla, an Excellence Award winner of New Cosmos of Photography 2006 (the 29th competition), has won the 11th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art (TARO Award). The TARO Award was established for works created by artists who pursue creativity from an unrestricted viewpoint and with a free way of thinking, not bound by conventional practices and norms. This time, there were 678 entries and 24 works received awards. An exhibition of award-winning works opens on February 9 at Kawasaki Taro Okamoto Museum. Palla’s winning work “reflections #3” is shown. We hope that you will take this opportunity to enjoy the exhibition.
