Yoshinori Kon participates in PATinKyoto Print Arts Triennale in Kyoto
New Cosmos of Photography 1992 (the 2nd competition) Excellence Award winner Yoshinori Kon will be exhibiting “Zombie Alone” (2007) at Print Art Triennale in Kyoto. Under a nomination system, Kon was nominated by independent curator Takashi Azumaya, one of many commissioners with a sharp eye and a wealth of information. The piece is about a zombie lost in a department store with no one to attack. The sheer idiocy of it invites laughter, but rather than just simple laughs, it appeals to the viewer's deep psyche.
