Yuko Yagasaki exhibits two new series at the Onaeba booth, Pacifico Yokohama, in her step to confront photography
"My life without you" comprises portraits taken seven years ago while she was undergoing treatment for cancer of the uterus. Next is the "Sakada bitch project," which was created while traveling around the world and doing handstands, seeing how the world is when turned upside down, and how viewpoints and thoughts can change.
Yagasaki, who was selected as the Excellence Award winner by guest judge Sara Moon, had been away from photography for several years and this exhibition of 70 works will be her first step, into which she has applied a tremendous effort.
Come and check it out.
