Winners for this year’s competition and photos from excellence award selection committee meeting
The excellence award selection committee meeting for New Cosmos of Photography 2006 was held in the second week of July at Canon Inc.’s HQs in Shimomaruko, Tokyo. There were about 1,400 applications this year, a slight increase from last year. The meeting exceeded the scheduled time. We show you some photos from the meeting.
The following are the winners of New Cosmos of Photography 2006. The prize - winning works will be exhibited at New Cosmos of Photography 2006 exhibition to be held in the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in November. During the exhibition, the Grand Prize selection committee meeting will be held, which is open to the public.
