"New Cosmos of Photography" Exhibition Tour 2010 in Osaka
Works from New Cosmos of Photography 2009 (the 32nd competition) are to be exhibited in Osaka by Canon from April 14, 2010.
The works presented in the New Cosmos of Photography Osaka Exhibition 2010 include one Grand Prize-winning work, four Excellence Award-winning works, and six Honorable Mention-winning works (from a total of 18, six persons who were born in, or live in the Kansai and Tokai regions), chosen from among a total of 1,340 entries to New Cosmos of Photography 2009 (32nd competition), as well as works of Masanori Hata, Grand Prize winner of New Cosmos of Photography 2008 (31st competition). This touring exhibition brings together featured exhibits from the highly reputed "New Cosmos of Photography 2009 Tokyo Exhibition" held at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in November of last year.
Conversations with artists including exhibitors will be held at the venue to provide opportunities to exchange opinions on the artists’ concepts, intentions, and photographic expressions.
