Announcing the New Cosmos of Photography Osaka Exhibition 2011
The New Cosmos of Photography 2010 (33rd competition) exhibition of award-winning works will be held on April 5 in Osaka.
The works included in the New Cosmos of Photography Osaka Exhibition 2011 are one Grand Prize-winning work, four Excellence Award-winning works (one person from the Kansai region), and 20 Honorable Mention-winning works (six persons who were born or live in the Kansai region), chosen from a total of 1,276 entries to New Cosmos of Photography 2010 (33rd competition), as well as works of Misato Kuroda, Grand Prize winner of New Cosmos of Photography 2009 (32nd competition).
This touring exhibition brings together featured exhibits from the highly reputed "New Cosmos of Photography 2010 Tokyo Exhibition" held at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in November of last year.
Conversations with exhibitors will be held during the exhibition to provide an opportunity for exchanges of opinions on the artists' concepts, intentions, and photographic expressions.
