Announcing the New Cosmos of Photography Osaka Exhibition 2012
The New Cosmos of Photography 2011 (34th competition) exhibition of award-winning works will be held from April 3 in Osaka.
The works included in the New Cosmos of Photography Osaka Exhibition 2012 are one Grand Prize-winning work (Osaka resident), four Excellence Award-winning works, and 20 Honorable Mention-winning works (six people were born in, or live in the Kansai region), chosen from a total of 1,305 entries to New Cosmos of Photography 2011 (34th competition), as well as works of Karen Sato, Grand Prize winner of New Cosmos of Photography 2010 (33rd competition). This touring exhibition brings together featured exhibits from the highly reputed “New Cosmos of Photography 2011 Tokyo Exhibition” held at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in November of last year.
Conversations with exhibitors will be held during the exhibition to provide an opportunity to exchange opinions on the artists’ concepts, intentions, and photographic expressions.
