Canon announced today that it is now accepting entry applications for the “New Cosmos of Photography 2008” photo competition. Entries for this year’s contest will be accepted from Tuesday, April 8 to Wednesday, June 11 (until 17:00 on the final day), with applications being accepted using the Web Application Entry system.

Masafumi Sanai, an Excellence Award winner of New Cosmos of Photography 1995 (the 12th competition) will participate in a talk show at the venue of New Cosmos of Photography Exhibition 2008 in Nagoya.

The award-winning works of New Cosmos of Photography 2008 (the 30th competition) are to be exhibited at four venues in Sendai, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka, respectively, starting on February 22, 2008.
