An open-selection meeting to choose the grand prize winner for 2004 will be held as follows. Please note that all visitors must register by phone during the application period specified below.

At New Cosmos of Photography, we are pleased to announce that “New Cosmos of Photography Exhibition 2004” is being held to exhibit the award-winning works of five finalists, and an open-selection meeting to choose the grand prize winner of 2004 is being held at the same venue during the exhibition period. Also held is a solo exhibition of new works by Yasuhiko Uchihara, the grand prize winner of the year 2003.

The selection meeting for the 27th New Cosmos of Photography Contest was held at the Canon headquarters in Shimomaruko in June. The panel was composed of six judges including regular judges Nobuyoshi Araki, Kotaro Iizawa, Fumio Nanjo, and Daido Moriyama, plus guest judges photographer Kevin Westenberg and artist Miwa Yanagi.
