Canon invited the disabled children living in Tokyo to a J. League official game (FC Tokyo vs. Omiya Ardija) held at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Chofu, Tokyo, in cooperation with Japan Professional Soccer League (J. League) and FC Tokyo, on May 6, 2006.

This program of social support services aims to invite children, who have usually little chance to watch sport games, to a J. League game to enjoy sports. This is its 6th event. The participating children were invited beforehand through Tokyo Council of Social Welfare, and a total of fifteen disabled children and their caregivers took part in the event.

In the morning, the children went to see the pitch. Actually being at the vast pitch where soccer players play games, they touched the lawn or took photos with a gleam of interest in their eyes.
In the afternoon, an FC Tokyo staff talked about football in an easy-to-understand way, showing the children the players' shin-pads and spikes.
In the exchange program with players, Naoto Matsuo, defender of FC Tokyo, came to see the children. They were all in high spirits seeing a big player, and asked him many questions. Matsuo answered their questions with a smile, and autographed their T-shirts, flags, and the wheels of their wheelchairs.

Later, the children enjoyed watching the game, giving enthusiastic cheers together with Canon volunteers participating in the event.
