Canon Vietnam took part in a support project conducted by Association for the Support of Vietnamese Handicapped and Orphans (ASVHO), the Ministry of Labor, and Vietnam Television (VTV), March 14 to April 14, 2006. During an in-house fund-raising campaign , 50 wheelchairs were donated to Son La village in the mountains on April 1. In addition, 10 million VND was contributed at a charity event held on April 15.
