Orphanage children invited to tour environmental facilities
On December 20, Canon Opto Malaysia invited 36 children from a nearby orphanage to its office to introduce the environmental activities of Canon, and to show them around the environmental facilities.
This environmental education program aims to increase the children’s awareness of environmental conservation. All the children in identical Canon hats and uniforms took an observation tour around sites for processing water, recycling leftover compost, and processing garbage. They showed interest in the water purification experiment and activities to protect the environment.
In addition, the company presented the orphanage with a Canon digital camera, a digital video camera, a photo printer, a calculator, and a personal computer.
