Future Technologies, Today

To ensure continued sound growth, Canon strives to enhance its research capabilities with new technology and explore new business domains.
Accordingly, the company established the Leading-Edge Technology Research Center, an R&D base at its headquarters in Shimomaruko, Tokyo, equipping the facility with cluster computers, microscopes supporting nano-level observation, and other state-of-the-art equipment.
The Center supports the research of cutting-edge technologies for displays, intelligent image processing, healthcare, and nanotechnology.
