In Stage 3, we have reproduced two works on the theme of "High Resolution Facsimiles of Japanese Art Abroad": Waves at Matsushima by Tawaraya Sotatsu, now housed in the Freer Gallery of Art in Washington DC and expressly forbidden to be removed from the Gallery under the will of the Gallery's founder Charles Freer; and Dragon and Tiger by Sesson, housed in the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, Ohio. These have been donated to the temples that owned them before they have been owned in the United States.
Under the theme " High Resolution Facsimiles of Historical Cultural Assets", we have reproduced two hanging scrolls (said to be images of Minamoto no Yoritomo and Taira no Shigemori) from Three Portraits of the Jingoji Temple, a National Treasure reputedly created by Fujiwara no Takanobu and housed at Jingoji Temple; and Birds and Animals in the Flower Garden by Ito Jakuchu, housed in the Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art.
Additionally, we have reproduced four of the 32 panels in Landscapes by Hasegawa Tohaku, housed at Entokuin Temple.
